Причастие прошедшего времени превосходит остальные (кроме инфинитива) не только частотностью употребления, но и разнообразием синтаксического употребления. В грабаре оно часто функнонировало в роли личного глагола. The past participle excels the rest (except the infinitive) not only in frequency of use but also in diversity of syntactical functions. In Grabar it often functioned in the role of a personal form of verb.
