Abstract:

Based on various sources, this article attempts to present the events of 1914-1915: the persecutory policy of the Turkish government against the Armenians of Keghi sub-district, Erzurum province, the primary methods of deportation used against the Armenians of the province, the brutal actions taken during the deportation, and the main sites of massacres. Studying the history of deportation and annihilation of Armenians in individual regions, even in specific settlements, allows for a more complete understanding of the mechanisms behind the Armenian Genocide.
В статье на основе различных источников предпринята попытка представить политику преследования турецкого правительства в отношении армян района Кегы в провинции Эрзерум, основные методы депортации армян из района, жестокие действия во время депортации и основные места массовых убийств. Изучение истории выселения и уничтожения армян в отдельных регионах, даже в конкретных поселениях, помогает более полно понять механизмы реализации Геноцида армян.
