Abstract:

В армянской историографии по разным причинам имеются разногласия в вопросах подготовки, начала турецко-армянской войны 1920 г. В статье анализируются позиция советской армянской историографии относительно военно-политической обстановки в Закавказье летом 1920 г. Раскрывается отношение историков и партийно-политических деятелей к основным причинам начала турецко-армянской войны. Что касается периода начала войны, то причина появившегося в советско-армянской историографии плюрализма объясняется, прежде всего, ограниченностью возможностей использования архивного материала и требованиями коммунистической идеологии. Большинство историков считают датой начала войны 23 сентября 1920 г.
For various reasons, there is still a disagreement in the Soviet Armenian historiography concerning the exact date of the beginning of the Turkish-Armenian war in 1920. This article gives an analysis of the estimations, regarding the military-political developments in Transcaucasia during the summer of 1920, by the Soviet Armenian historiography. The author examines the general attitude of historians and party leaders towards the main reasons for the outbreak of the Turkish-Armenian war. As for the period of the beginning of the war, the reason for the pluralism that appeared in the Soviet-Armenian historiography is explained, first of all, by the limited possibilities of using archival material and the requirements of communist ideology. Most historians consider the date of the war to be September 23, 1920.
