Abstract:

The aiticle deals with the question of political Islam in Turkey in the 1970s. The "National Outlook" movement played a significant role in mobiliäng Islam in Turkey both in political and social levels. The immortal leader of the movement Necmettin Erbakan has been active in politics for more than five decades now by actively contributing to the general rise of Islam in the socio-political life of Turkey.
