Abstract:

This article discusses using quasi-chemical formalism to describe nonlinear multicomponent diffusion for analyzing experimental curves of the dependence of diffusion coefficients on component concentrations in complex (e.g., biological) systems. The proposed mathematical model allows us to establish the dependence of the partial coefficients of self-diffusion and inter-diffusion on the components' concentrations in a multicomponent system.
