Abstract:

Ռուս մեծ գրող Ալեքսեյ Պեշկովի՝ Մաքսիմ Գորկու (1868–1936) ծանոթությունը հայ ժողովրդի, մասնավորապես, մտավորականության հետ սկիզբ են առել XIX դարավերջին և շարունակվել մինչև կյանքի վերջը: Նրա ուշադրության կենտրոնում են եղել հայ իրականության բազմազան իրողություններ՝ Անդրկովկասում 1905 թ. ծավալված հայ-թաթարական ընդհարումները և այդ գործում ցարիզմի դերը, Արևմտյան Հայաստանում տիրող իրավիճակը, Օսմանյան Թուրքիայում հայերի կոտորածները և այլն: The relations of the Russian great writer Alexei Peshkov – Maxim Gorky (1868–1936) with the Armenian people, particularly with the intelligentsia began at the end of the 19th century and continued until his death. Various events of the Armenian reality in Transcaucasia – the 1905 Armenian–Tatar clashes and the role of Tsarism in it, the massacres of the Armenians in Ottoman Turkey, the situation in Western Armenia, etc., were at the center of his attention.
