Abstract:

В статье исследуются обряды по вызыванию и прекращению дождя, и в частности, фольклорные и этнографические корни обряда „Нурин" („Чоли"). В этих диаметрально противоположных по сути двух обрядах использование одинаковых средств, способствовало созданию ритуальных песен с функциями двойного назначения как по вызыванию, так и по прекращению дождя („Годи", „Чоли"). Стихийные проявления атмосферных явлений с древних времен способствовали формированию культовых обрядов и песен, с помощью которых армянский народ стремился восстановить гармонию с природой. До начала XX в. среди армян бытовали следы этих культовых обрядов. The article is about the rites for rain calling and stopping, particularly in folk-lore and ethnographic roots of „Nourin" („Choli") rite. In these two diametrically opposed by their meanings rites the using of similar subjects and symbols, contributed to creation of ritual songs with dual purpose functions at first to call rain, as well as to stop it („Godi", „Choli"). Since ancient times spontaneous display of atmospheric phenomena has furthered the formation of cult rites and songs, with the help of which the Armenians aspired to restore the harmony with nature. The vestiges of these cult rites still existed in Armenian customs up to the beginning of the 20th century.
