Abstract:
This study examines semantic shifts in military vocabulary within the linguistic consciousness of Armenians from Artsakh, a region that remained a site of military and political conflict for more than three decades and experienced four wars The aim of the study is to identify and describe a characteristic linguistic phenomenon reflecting the military and post war realities of the Karabakh dialect: the semantic shift of individual words and fixed expressions associated with the military domain and their incorporation into the active vocabulary of everyday speech.
