Предотвращение плагиата – одна из труднейших задач в системе образования в целом и в армянских высших учебных заведениях, в частности. Анализ правовой и этической составляющей плагиата в Армении показывает, что данное явление служит средством легкого достижения карьерных целей в научной сфере. Tехнические и системные решения проблемы в равной мере связаны с применением детекторов плагиата и с пересмотром критериев оценки научных работ в ВУЗ-ах. The problem of plagiarism is among the biggest challenges for the modern educational systems in general and the Armenian higher educational establishments in particular. The analysis of the legal and ethical aspects of plagiarism in Armenia demonstrates that the latter serves as an easy way of achieving career objectives in the scientific sphere. The technical and systematic solutions of the problem at the HEE are connected with the application of plagiarism detection tools on the one hand, and with the revision of the criteria of scientific product assessment on the other.
