Положение армянских сирот всегда было в центре вни-мания ежедневной газеты "Чакатамарт". Газета откликалась на проблемы сиротских домов Константинополя в 1918- 1924 гг. Множество публикаций было посвящено актуальной для общества теме ассимиляции армянских сирот, которых вывозили за границу."Chakatamart" newspaper has focused its attention on the problems of the Armenian orphans. It has presented its work on orphan care in both Constantinople and in the First Republic of Armenia. Under the separate row the newspaper has rebounded to the problems and everyday life of the Armenian orphanages in Constantinople in 1918-1924. The newspaper was concerned especially with the fate of the Armenian orphans who had moved abroad, and "Chakatamart" believed that the danger of the assimilation would threaten them.
