С 1976 года в армянской колонии Канады стала активно работать монреальская театральная труппа "Арменян". Со дня своего создания и в особенности в 1981-1985 гг. труппа служила высоким национальным идеям на стезе искусства, способствовала сохранению национальной самобытности и национального духа. Since 1976 the Theatre Company “Armenian” in Montreal has started to work actively in the Armenian community of Canada. From the first days of its establishment, especially from 1981 to 1985 the theatre company devoted itself to the high national ideas on the path of art, promoted the maintenance of national identity and spirit.
