Тенденция дегуманизации присутствует в творческих поисках почти всех режиссеров и теоретиков театра XX века. Осью художественных изысканий являлась не столько психология действующих лиц, сколько ритмопластический рисунок спектакля. Переосмысляя принцип подражания объективной реальности, художники, в сущности, сужали социальное и психологическое содержание искусства, что являлось отражением процесса дегуманизации. The tendency of dehumanization exists in almost all directors' and theater theorists' searches of the XX century. The main target of artistic researches was not as much the psychology of characters, as the rhythmic and plastic image of the performance. Reviewing the principal imitation of objective reality, artists, in fact, also narrowed the social and psychological content of art, which was the manifestation of dehumanization.
