В силу известных трагических событий армяне обосновались в разных странах мира. Представители армянской общины во Франции пытались посредством перевода пропагандировать армянскую культуру, в частности, армянскую литературу, начиная со средневековья до наших дней, тем самым приобщая французских читателей к богатому духовному наследию армянского народа. Armenian communities were founded in many countries. It has always been the aspiration of Armenian communities to communicate with public and to create a political, social-economic and cultural heritage. Through their translations, Armenians promoted both classical and contemporary Armenian literature and introduced themselves to French readers.
