Abstract:

Одним из важнейших событий в Армянском нагорье рубежа IV–III тысячелетий до н. э. является распространение куро-аракской культуры эпохи ранней бронзы на другие части и за пределы нагорья. Это явление известно под названием «куро-аракская экспансия». Датировка «экспансии» около 3000–2900 гг. до н. э. показывает, что это произошло в период резкого изменения климата, известного как «климатическое событие 5.2 тысяч лет назад». Это явление характеризуется установлением относительно холодных и сухих погодных условий по сравнению с тeплым и влажным климатом Среднего голоцена. Данное событие наблюдалось во всем мире и длилось несколько сотен лет. Проявления социального кризиса, наблюдаемые в культурном мире Куро-Аракса, разрушение и заброшенность поселений, рост мобильности и передвижение населения в более благоприятные регионы Ближнего Востока свидетельствуют о том, что имеем дело со взаимосвязанными явлениями.
One of the most important events in the Armenian Highland at the turn of the 4th-3rd millennia BC is the spread of the Early Bronze Age Kura-Araxes culture towards the other parts of the highland and beyond. This phenomenon is known as “Kura-Araxes expansion”. The dating of the “expansion” at around 3000-2900 BC shows that it took place during the period of drastic climate change known as “5.2 ka BP climate event”. This event is characterized by the establishment of relatively colder and drier weather conditions compared to the warmer and more humid climate of the Middle Holocene. This event has been observed globally and lasted for several hundred years. The manifestations of the societal crisis observed in the Kura-Araxes cultural world, the destruction and abandonment of the settlements, the growth of mobility and the population movement to more favorable regions of the Near East prove that we are dealing with the interconnected phenomena.
