Two short stories from the collection "Akhtamar" by Homa Djassemi, "Akhtamar" and "Anet and Aylin" are about Armenians. The author presented the life of two Iranian-Armenian families and their personal, big and small problems. In both stories, the Armenian theme is purely an artistic expression to make the composition more interesting and unique. To ensure Armenianness, in the story “Akhtamar” the author touched upon the Armenian legend of the same name, the characters of Khachatur Kesaratsi and Ernest Holster. In both stories, Djassemi devoted a lot of space to Christian elements: Armenian churches, prayers, as well as some words written in Armenian with Persian script to emphasize the Armenian environment.
