Автор статьи вводит в научное обращение воспоминания пианистки, певицы, музыковеда, педагога Маргарит Бабаян (1874-1968) об «армянском Карузо»–певце Парижской Гранд оперы, соловье Тарона–Арменаке Шахмурадяне, хранящиеся в фонде Маргарит Бабаян, который размещен в Музее литературы и искусства имени Егише Чаренца. Nikolai Kostandyan in this article puts into circulation the memoirs of the pianist, singer, musician and educator Margarita Babayan (1874-1968) about Armenak Shahmuradyan, the "Armenian Karuzo", the singer of «grand-opéra» of Paris who is considered to be the nightingale of Daron. These memoirs are housed in the Margarita Babayan’s fund at the E. Charent’s Museum of Literature and Art.
