В раннеисламский период в мусульманских источниках понятие “джихад” трактовалось как борьба против собственных пороков, так и борьба во имя Аллаха. В рассматриваемый период были установлены наступательная и оборонительная характеристики “джихада”. In the early Islamic period according to Muslim sources the concept of "Jihad" meant strive against their own vices and in the path of God. The offensive and defensive characteristics of "Jihad" was at that time defined.
