Abstract:

Арабы Междуречья стали свидетелями депортация армян, их изгнания со своей исторической родины. Спасшиеся от резни армяне нашли приют и убежище у местных арабов. Их гуманное отношение, предоставление армянам всесторонней помощи приняли официальный характер после принятия шерифом и эмиром Мекки ал Хусейном ибн Али манифестов от 26 июля 1916г. и марта 1917г. The Arab population living within the confines of the Ottoman Empire not only witnessed the annihilation of a whole people but also extended a saving hand to the victims of the Turkish genocidal policy. Escaping the massacre, many of the Armenian victims were able to find asylum and shelter among the local Arabs. The humanistic attitude and assistance of the latter took on an official character after the proclamation of manifests by the Sheriff and Emir of Mecca Al Hussein Ibn Ali on July 26, 1916 and in March 1917
