Abstract:

Холм Арин-берд находится на юго—восточной окраине столицы Советской Армении Еревана, и представляет собой цитадель основанного в первой половине VIII в. до н. э. урартского города Еребуни. Наряду с обильными археологическими материалами урартского времени были выявлены данные, относящиеся к послеурартскому периоду (VI—IV вв.). Среди поседних особое место занимает раскрытый на территории крепости колонный зал. Рассматриваемое сооружение было, возможно, залом приемов сатрапа, а крепость Арин-берд—одним из центров XVIII сатрапии, возникшей до 450 г. до н. э. The hall of Arin-Berd is on the southeastern outskirts of Yerevan, the capital of Soviet Armenia and was the citadel of the Urartian city of Erebuny, founded in the first part of VIII с. В. C. Data have been exposed concerning the posturartian period (VI—IV cc. В. C.) together with an abundant archaeological material of Urartian time. Among this data the hall of columns disclosed on the fortress territory occupies a special place. It may be that the structure under consideration was the reception hall of the satrap and the fortress Arin-Berd was one of the centres of the XVIII satrapy which came into being before 450 В. C.
