В статье обсуждаются те отрывки из Библии, где упоминается Север. Авторы приводят несколько комментариев на английском языке, в которых фразы, включающие слово Север, отождествляется с Арменией. Кроме того, упоминается, что в Библии слова Север и Восток могут заменять друг друга. Следовательно, рассматриваются также похожие отрывки, где упомянут Восток. Особое внимание уделяется тем местам, где Север и Восток упомянуты как место «собрания» или «сонмы» Бога(ов), подразумевая Армению. The article discusses passages from the Bible, in which the word north is mentioned. The authors provide several English commentaries, in which phrases including the word north are identifi ed with Armenia. Besides, it is mentioned that in the Bible the words north and east can replace each other. So, similar passages with the word east are also discussed. Particular attention is paid to those places, where the words north and east are mentioned in connection with God(s) and state the tradition of ancient times, according to which the “congregation” or the “assembly” of God(s) was in Armenia.
