Abstract:

The paper is a survey on the presence of Armenia in the volumes of the Haigazian Armenological Review. The author argues that this presence is not solely expressed through the contribution of authors from Armenia, but also through the topics presented by contributors outside Armenia. The author notes that this presence is echoed by the presence of a number of contributors who graduated from Yerevan State University and the Khachadur Apovian Pedagogical Institute (now university) as well as from the Polytechnic Institute of Armenia. After grouping the research papers, original documents, obituaries and book reviews published in the HAR, the author compares the results of the contributions coming from abroad with those from Armenia and reveals diverse features in each group, like the fact that the discrepancy between the percentages of the categories is less in the contributions coming from Armenia than in those hailing from the Diaspora.
