Одной из самых трагических страниц армянской истории является резня армянского населения Киликии в апреле 1909 года. 30000 армян были уничтожены в течение нескольких дней. Армянские депутаты полагали, что эти массовые убийства являются результатом организованного заговора. The most tragic pages of Armenian history are the massacres of the Armenians in Cilicia in April 1909. 30,000 Armenians were massacred during a few days. Armenian deputies were inclined to think that the massacres were the result of an organized conspiracy, however, soon realized that their only way was struggle in the field of constitution.
