Армянские народные юмористические миниатюры на тему свадебного обряда дают четкое представление о древнем ритуале, его церемониальных элементах и особенностях, о взаимоотношениях людей в прошлом и настоящем, об их мышлении, быте и нравах, об армянском языке и диалектной лексике в их самобытных проявлениях. Armenian folk jokes on the wedding ceremony are so diverse, multi-layered and rich in content, that in communication, apart from laughter, high spirits, they also convey a clear understanding of the ancient ritual, its ceremonial elements and peculiarities, the relationship between people in the past and present, their way of thinking, their everyday lifestyle and customs, the intricacies of the Armenian language and its dialect vocabulary together with its unique ways of expression.
