Одним из важнейших центров восточной части Хеттской державы являлся город Сарисса. Город был расположен на территории Малого Айка, в окрестностях гор Антитавра и являлся важным духовным, экономическим и военным центром региона. The city of Sarissa was one of the most important centers of the western part of the Hittite Empire. Geographically, the city was in the Armenian Highland. Archaeological excavations in the territory of Sarissa provide a lot of important and interesting facts about the cities of the eastern part of the Hittite Empire.
