С 1920 г. Общество Красного Креста Армении развернуло масштабную деятельность как в Первой Армянской Республике, так и в Советской Армении по оказанию медицинской помощи населению республики, бездомным сиротам и беженцам из Западной Армении, спасшимся от геноцида. The article focuses on the elucidation of the formation process of the Armenian Red Cross Society and on the implementation of the humanitarian work in the initial period. Since 1920 the Armenian Red Cross society has implemented various works for the refugees, Armenian Genocide survivors, homeless orphans and also in the procedure of health protection of the population both in the First Republic of Armenia and in the Soviet Armenia.
