В годы Первой Республики Армения армянская периодика курировалась министерством внутренних дел, которое разрешало издание того или иного органа прессы. В Республике Армения вопросы, связанные с периодикой, регулировались на основе законодательства Всероссийского Временного правительства. In the period of the first Republic of Armenia the press was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the name of the Government the Internal Affairs department kept relations with the publishing houses and newspaper editorials giving instructions, authorizing or suspending the publications.
