Изучение исторических данных показывает, что в странах древнего Востока (Египет, Вавилон, Иран, Армения) мардами назывались представители определенной части правящего класса. В частности, в древней Армении к мардам относились представители воинства. The studies of the historical data shows that in the countries of ancient East (Egypt, Babylon, Iran, Armenia) mards were called the representatives of the certain part of ruling class. Particularly in ancient Armenia mards were related to the representatives of hosts.
