Самуэл Муратян— один из известных деятелей армянской культуры XVIII в. Вначале он получил образование в армянской Мхитарянской школе в Венгрии, а впоследствии—в Венеции. Затем он отправляется в Индию и занимается торговлей. Кроме материального благополучия школы его волнует проблема обучения и воспитания армянских детей.Он осознает необходимость создания армянской школы. Samuel Muradian is one of the well-known figures of Armenian culture of the XVIII c. At the beginning he got education in Armenian Mkhitarian school in Hungary and then—in Venice. Then he leaves for India and is busy with trade. Besides the material well-being of the school, the problem of teaching and education of Armenian children worries him. He admits the necessity of the creation of Armenian school.
