Արփիար Արփիարյանը քննադատ և գրականության պատմաբան

Арпиар Арпиаряи (1851—1908)— писатель, публицист, критик и историк литературы в своих многочисленных статьях, рецензиях стремился решить наиболее сложные и актуальные проблемы современной жизии и литературы. Основоположник реалистического направления в западноармянской литературе, Арпиарян своим творчеством способствовал осуществлению идейно-эстетичеоких принципов армянских «восьмидесятников». Arpiar Arpiarian (1851—1908)—an author, public-affairs writer, critic and historian of literature, in his numerous articles and revues strove to provide solutions to most of the complex and actual issues of contemporary literature and life. Founder of the realistic trend in the West-Armenian literature, Arpiarian and his creative work facilitated implementation ideological and aesthetic principles of Armenian intellectuals of the eighties.
