Հոդվածում աղբյուրագիտական և վավերական նյութերի հիման վրա բացահայտված են Ադրբեջանական ԽՍՀ ԳԱ իսկական անդամ Զիա Բունիաթովի և նրա գրչակից վայ պատմաբանների կողմից հայ ժողովրդի ծագման, նրա պատմության առանձին դրվագների, Բաքվի կոմունայի և նրա առաջնորդ, Կովկասի գործերի արտակարգ կոմիսար Ստեփան Շահումյանի հեղափոխական գործունեության չարամիտ և միտումնավոր խեղաթյուրումները։ Within the last three years frequent attempts have been made by Zia Buniatov, member of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR and his co-writers so-called historians to maliciously distort certain data concerning the origin of the Armenian people and their history, like the activities of the Baku Commune and its leader, Stepan Shahumian, the Extraordinary Commissar on the Caucasian Affairs.
