In an attempt to better formulate the field of Armenian Historiography and related issues four Armenian historiographers were asked to answer the following questions: a) What are the mission and objectives of Armenian historiography? B) What are the i) main areas, ii) characteristics, iii) gaps of Armenian historiography? C) What are the main technological and scientific challenges of modern Armenian historiography (cooperation, methodology, language, sources, funding, generational gap...), d) Where does Armenian historiography stand on the international map of historiography? This paper is a compilation of the answers given by Drs. Kayane Makhmourian, Simon Payaslian, Vahram Shemmassian and Khachadur Stepanian. This is the third series of questions being published in every second book of the Haigazian Armenological Review. The questions of the previous years revolved around issues related to Eastern and Western Armenian language, as well as issues related to Armenian Studies.
