It was ascertained that in 2001-2002, 7-8 years after the Karabakv war, child development characteristics among the children in their infancy and early childhood period are almost restored to the values of physiological norms set up in 1986. In one year after the birth male children average body lenght reaches 73 cm, in their secwnd year they add 10 cm more and in the third year growth augmentation makes up 11 cm. Body mass increase during the first year of life is 7.5 kg, in the second year the body mass grows by 1.8 kg and in the third year by 2.1 kg. Head circumference increase constitutes 11.7 cm, 1.0 cm and 2.2 cm in the first three years respectively. There was nwt indicated any essential difference in growth tempo betwen male and female infants.
