Типография духовной семинарии Нерсисян действовала с момента своего основания в 1823 г. до 1830 г., затем до 1841 г. прекратила работать, после чего работала с перерывами до 1870 г. Фактически в Тифлисе в 1830-1838 гг. издание армянских книг было прекращено на восемь лет. Однако печатание армянских книг осуществлялось с 1838 г. в других вновь открывшихся армянских типографиях. В Тифлисе книги на армянском языке издавали типографии Акопа и Давида Арзанянца, Гулянца и Шахмурадянца, Акопа Григоряна- Арзуманянца, иерея Габриэла Патканянца, Мовсеса Варданянца, Габриэля Мелкумянца и Амбарцума Энфиаджянца, позднее лишь типографии последнего и типография Аладатянца. Все типографии, кроме типографии Амбарцума Энфиаджянца, проработали недолго, всего несколько лет, иногда даже меньше; две из них издали всего по одной книге. В рассматриваемый нами период в 32 года (1838 - 1870) во всех этих семи типографиях было издано 137 наименований печатных материалов (116 книг, 14 календарей, 3 газеты, 4 журнала). Автор статьи провела детальное библиографическое исследование с целью выяснения времени деятельности других армянских типографий, действующих независимо от типографии духовной семинарии Нерсисян, уточнения данных, касающихся издаваемых в них книг, календарей и газет, составления их точной библиографии.
The printing house of the Nersisyan Theological Seminary has operated from the moment of its foundation in 1823 until 1830, then stopped working until 1841, after which it has worked with breaks until 1870. In fact, the publication of Armenian books has been stopped for eight years in Tiflis in 1830-1838. However, the printing of Armenian books has been carried out by other newly opened Armenian printing houses since 1838. In Tiflis, the books in Armenian have been published by the printing houses of Hakob and David Arzanyants, Gulyants and Shahmuradyants, Hakob Grigoryan-Arzumanyants, Priest Gabriel Patkanyants, Movses Vardanyants, Gabriel Melkumyants and Hambartsum Enfiachyants, later only the printing house of the latter and the printing house of Aladatyants. All the printing houses, except the printing house of Hambartsum Enfiachyants, have not worked for long, only for a few years, sometimes even less; two of them have published only by one book each. 137 names of printed materials (116 books, 14 calendars, 3 newspapers and 4 magazines) have been published by all these seven printing houses during the period of 32 years considered by us (1838 - 1870). The author of the article carried out a detailed bibliographic study with the purpose of the clarification of the period of the activities of other Armenian printing houses operating independently of the printing house of the Nersisyan Theological Seminary, the clarification of the data regarding the books, calendars and newspapers published in them, as well as the compiling of their exact bibliography.
