Abstract:

The Ararat Regional Library after Ohan Chubaryan was established in 1948. It is the main state library in the province which is in charge for acquisition and preservation, on the regional level of printed collections, and also organizes library information bibliographic services, supports scientific and methodological work in province libraries. The library inpliments state policy in the field of librarianship. As follows January 1, 2018 the library collections include 101,718 units of literature , of which 47,446 are in the circulation department, 23,797 in the depository, 1,831 in the information department, 14,553 in the children's department and 14,141 are in the reading room.
