Abstract:

В древнеармянском переводе труда Василия Кесарийского изобилуют синтетические и аналитические модели словообразования. В большинстве своем – это аналитические сложные слова. В синтетических словах превалируют существительное + глагол, существительное + прилагательное, а в аналитических – наречие + глагольные структуры. Большинство использованных при переводе синтетических и аналитических моделей на сегодняшний день являются архаизмами, но некоторые вошли в лексику современного армянского языка. The vocabulary of the Old Armenian translation of Vasil of Kesaria’s “Book of Lent” is very rich in various word-formational phenomena. Of particular originality from both structural and semantic viewpoints are the synthetic and analytical forms of compound words in the Armenian translation of the book. These lexical units are prevailingly analytical compounds, and we have attempted to give their morphological characteristics. Among the synthetic forms of the lexical units in the translation particularly predominant are the patterns of N+V and N+Adj, whereas in analytical compound words the prevalence is given to the pattern Adv.+V. Some of these words are archaisms today, and some becoming part and parcel of the wordstock of the contemporary Armenian language, add to the enrichment of the language.
