Abstract:

Գոյություն ունեն բազմաթիվ վարկածներ ույղուրների՝ որպես էթնիկ թուրքական ցեղախմբերից մեկի, ի հայտ գալու ճշգրիտ ժամանակի մասին, սակայն ակնհայտ է, որ նրանք հնագույն էթնոս ներկայացնելով, գոյատևել են մինչ օրս։ Ույղուրների պատմությունը, ինչպես նաև նրանց էթնիկ ծագումը, վեճի առարկա է դարձել ույղուր ազգայնականների և Չինաստանի իշխանությունների միջև: Ույղուրներն իրենց պատմության տարբեր փուլերում հիմնել են բազմաթիվ պետություններ, որոնցից ամենամեծն ու ամենահայտնին Ույղուրական կագանատն էր։ There are many hypothetical ideas of the exact time of the Uighurs' origin as a separate ethnic group. However it is clear that Uighurs are an ancient ethnos that has survived until the present time. The Uighur history as well as its ethnic origin have been the subject of debate between the Uyghur nationalists and Chinese authorities. The Uighurs established many states and state unions throughout their history, the largest and most famous of which was the Uyghur Khaganate.
