Гениальный сатирик Акоп Паронян беспощадно разоблачил истинный смысл политики великих держав в Восточном вопросе во второй половине 70-х и в начале 80-х годов XIX столетия. Он показал, что эти державы на деле не были заинтересованы в изменении печальной судьбы христианских подданных султана, а лишь спекулировали на этом, чтобы добиться уступок у Турции в свою пользу. Satirist of genius Hakop Paronyan unmasked ruthlessly the real sense of the policy of the Great Powers in the Oriental Question in the second half of the seventies and in the early eighties of the 19th century. He revealed that the Great Powers were not really concerned with the changing of the sad fate of the Christian subjects of the Sultan, and caught it as an excuse in order to exert pressure upon Turkey, and obtain concessions for themselves.
