Армянская христианская церковь отличается особой терминологией. Она содержит не только новые, но и такие термины, которые были образованы в дописьменном периоде истории армянского языка, тем самым сохраняя свои доисторические смысловые употребления и семасиологические значения. Слово astuac "бог" является собственно армянским. The terminology of the Armenian Christian Church is related to the ancient times and at present it mainly preserves its former meanings and significance. The word astuac belongs to the main layer of the Armenian word stock and its origin and semantics have attracted the attention of the past and present authors, have been the subjects of the investigators of the comparative linguistics and specially of the history of the pre-historical Armenian.
