In the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the proclamation o f independence, both countries faced the need to cooperate in diverse programs, since it could serve as an additional stimulus for Ukraine and Armenia on the way to establish friendly and partnering relations. However, there are a number o f differences in the concepts of foreign policies and military security policies adopted by the two countries.
