Object structure

The comparison of none-finite forms of the verb (verbals) in the Armenian, other Indo-European and several Fenno-Ugric languages shows that a) the comparison o f the verbals separately doesn’t give a distinct view of common features, as well as of the possible common origin o f the grammatical formants, b) due to the long process of historical development a change in the grammatical meaning of the formants and, therefore, in that of the verbals took place (grammatical shift), c) variants of the same grammatical formant are spread in different languages, including languages of different language families, d) the primary meaning of the formants, corresponding to the Armenian allomorphic group, and the primary meaning of the formants.
