During the second half of the 19th century there was no Armenian poet whose creative inspiration and intuition would not have been lit and shown up through the-shine of Pushkin’s poetry. It becomes obvious in their own verses and their translations of Pushkin’s poetry (see Mkrtich Emin, Hovhannes Hamazaspian, Rafael Patkanian, Ghazaros Aghayan, Mikael Nalbandian, Hovhannes Hovhannisian and others).
