Статья посвящена исследованию особенностей воображения школьников. По методике Торранса изучены продуктивность, гибкость, оригинальность творческого воображения и умение вырабатывать новые идеи. Проведен сравнительный анализ особенностей воображения девочек и мальчиков. Разработан формирующий эксперимент для определения механизма внешнего влияния на активизацию процессов творческого воображения. The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of schoolchildren’ imagination. The productivity, flexibility, originality and elaboration of the creative imagination are studied with the help of the Torrance method. A comparative analysis of the imagination peculiarities of girls and boys is conducted. A formative experiment has been carried out in order to reveal how much external influence promotes the activation of creative imagination processes.
