 abstract={В статье исследуется проблема оценки воздействия и эффективности санкций в современной мировой политике. В 2022 году количество санкций, введенных в отношении Российской Федерации (РФ) установило исторический рекорд, а их эффективность и влияние на глобальную политику привело к острым политическим и научным дебатам. В рамках представляемой статьи были проанализиро-ваны такие политические переменные, как степень международного сотрудничества в применении санкций, участие международных организаций в введении санкций, характер политической системы государства-мишени и наличие международной помощи для противодействия вводимым против РФ санкциям. Помимо этого, автором были проанализированы факторы, ограничивающие эффективность санкций против РФ, а также краткосрочные, среднесрочные и долгосрочные последствия санкций. На основе качественных и количественных методов исследования, сопоставимыми с первичными статистическими данными, было проведено ком-плексное изучение вышеуказанных проблем. В конце было проанализированы тенденции изменения глобального баланса сил, которые возникают в результате введения санкций против РФ. Вывод статьи заключается в том, что у России достаточно ресурсов для противостоя-ния санкционной политике в краткосрочной и среднесрочной перспективе, но в дальнесрочной перспективе формирующийся новый баланс сил не будет способствовать усилению политического влияния России. This paper researches the problem of assessing the im-pact and effectiveness of sanctions in contemporary global politics. In 2022, the number of sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation (RF) set a historical record. Moreover, the effectiveness of sanctions and their impact on global politics have led to keen political and scientific debates. In the framework of the article, a number of political variables are analyzed, such as the degree of international cooperation in implementation of sanctions, participation of international organizations in imposing sanctions, the nature of the political system of a target state, and the availability of international assistance to counter the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation. The article analyzes the factors that limit the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia, as well as short-term, mid-term and long-term global political consequences of the sanctions. Accord-ingly, the political variables and limitations of sanctions and their consequences in the RF were analyzed in either the short, medium and long-term perspec-tives. The methodological basic of this research includes qualitative and quanti-tative methods, but also primary statistical data, which helped to conduct com-prehensive study. At the end of research paper, the possible trends in the global balance of power were analyzed because of the imposition of sanctions on the RF. The article concludes that the Russian Federation has enough resources to counter sanctions in the short- and medium-term perspectives, but in the long-run the emerging new balance of power will not contribute to the strengthen-ing of Russia's political influence.},
