В книге посредством исторических хроник, архитектурных описаний, преданий и иллюстраций представлены около девяноста армянских монастырей, церквей и святых мест. Издание — не просто путеводитель: оно служит важным духовным, образовательным и культурным ресурсом, воссоединяющим читателя с исторической памятью армянского народа. Труд приобретает особую значимость в нынешнее время, когда предпринимаются попытки исказить армянскую историю и умалить роль Армянской Апостольской Церкви.
