Труд, подготовленный еще в середине 1980-х годов филологом Геворгом Мадояном (Геге), не был опубликован вовремя из-за политических потрясений эпохи и утери первого экземпляра рукописи. Сборник включает 320 писем, охватывающих более чем полувековой пе- риод деятельности писателя, значительная часть которых вводится в научный оборот впервые. Письма являются ценнейшим документальным источником для изучения биографии Ширванзаде, истории создания его произведений и его связей с выдающимися деятелями культуры. В статье особо отмечается кропотливая филологическая работа составителя над комментариями и переводами писем с русского языка. This article analyzes and evaluates a collection of letters by Alexander Shirvanzade, published in 2025 with a delay of almost 37 years. The work, prepared in the mid-1980s by philologist Gevorg Madoyan (Gege), was not published on time due to the political upheavals of the era and the loss of the first copy of the manuscript. The collection includes 320 letters covering more than half a century of the writer’s career, a significant portion of which are being published for the first time. The letters are an invaluable documentary source for studying Shirvanzade’s biography, the history of his works, and his connections with prominent cultural figures. The article particularly notes the compiler’s painstaking philological work, including detailed annotations and translations of Russian letters, as well as highlighting the significance of the collection for modern Armenian studies.},
