 abstract={В статье рассматривается богословское, нравственное и антропологическое осмысление хулы и сквернословия в контексте армяно-христианской традиции и в сравнении с другими мировыми религиями. Авторы раскрывают роль раз- ума и слова как признаков Божественного образа в человеке и подчеркивают, что злая и нечистая речь — это не просто моральное отклонение, но духовная болезнь, искажающая природу человека. На основе библейских, святоотеческих и классических армянских источников анализируется, как хулительное слово отрывает личность от Бога и лишает ее благодати. Далее проводится сравнительный анализ учений ислама, иудаизма, буддизма, индуизма, сикхизма и зороастризма, которые также осуждают злобную и вредоносную речь. В статье утверждается, что этическое регулирование речевого поведения — это нравственная обязанность человека, а благословение, а не проклятие, — его истинное призвание. This article explores the theological, moral, and anthropological understanding of blasphemy across major world religions, with a focus on the Christian (Armenian Apostolic) tradition. Beginning with the central role of reason and speech in the divine image of humanity, the authors examine how unrestrained, offensive, and blasphemous language distorts this image and separates the individual from divine grace. Drawing on Scripture, Patristic thought, and classical Armenian sources, the study emphasizes that blasphemy is not merely verbal misconduct, but a spiritual corruption rooted in pride, anger, and moral disintegration. The article further expands the scope by offering a comparative overview of Islamic, Judaic, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, and Zoroastrian teachings on offensive speech, illustrating a universal moral consensus on the sanctity of language. It concludes that safeguarding speech is an ethical imperative, echoing the wisdom of sacred traditions that blessing, not cursing, is the true vocation of the human tongue.},
