К этому прибавлялось все более тесное сотрудничество Турции с Израилем, которое имело негативньй резонанс во всем арабском мире. The paper considers the relations between Turkey and the Arab Maghrеb countries in the framework of regional and global developments in 1996-2002, as well as the goals that determine Turkey’s close relations with the Arab Maghreb Union. The emergence of close relations between Turkey and the Arab Maghreb Union was due to the problems with Syria and Iraq, as well as the rising tension in Kurdish issues. Turkey’s close cooperation with Israel that was negatively perceived in the Arabic world also contributed to this.},
