 abstract={Находясь в ущелье реки Хаченагет, крепость Хоханаберд сыграла значительную роль при нашествии арабов, турок-сельджуков, монголов и других завоевателей. На территории крепости имеется много историко-культурных памятиков с еще не изученными древними надписями. Последние представляют большой интерес для изучения истории рода Хахбакянов.
