 abstract={Петрофиты (petra – камень) - растения, приспособленные к жизни в скальных и каменистых породах. Состав сообществ петрофитов зависит от экспозиции и крутизны склона, характера увлажнения, степени выветривания породы и др. Исследуя некоторые участки предгорной зоны НКР, был выявлен ряд петрофитов: Hedysarum caucasicum, Sedum oppasitifolium, Ziziphora clinopodioides, Polygonum alpine, Pimpinella saxifraga, Valeriana leucophaea и.т.д. Petrophytes are plants which are adapted to grow in stony and rocky places. Petrophytes' community composition is depend to exposure, and the steepness of the slope, character of moisturizing and the degree of weathering of rocks. Exploring some parts of the foothill zone in NKR the following petrophytes were identified: Hedysarum caucasicum, Sedum oppasitifolium, Ziziphora clinopodioides, Polygonum alpine, Pimpinella saxifraga, Valeriana leucophaea etc...},
