 abstract={The article presents in detail the reactions of the Iranian side and the publications of official positions during the 44-day Nagorno-Karabakh war. Mainly, the messages of the official news agency "IRNA" are presented in translation, which include the positions of the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), as well as some experts and journalistic comments. With the presented chronology, it is interesting to observe the views expressed by the Iranian side during the hot combat operations. The article is conventionally divided into pre-activation phase, proposal program and position formation of the Iranian side. The conclusion section also refers to some of the most important events that took place after the hostilities. The study can make Iran's policy in the South Caucasus, particularly towards Armenia and Azerbaijan, more understandable.},
